Injured again?

I've been pretty worried the past few days...injuries galore...I guess its my fault being overzealous and injuring myself..although I didn't feel anything while I was actually doing asanas. I think it was a combination of excessive backbending and too much supta kurmasana...Anyway I've been having this persistent back ache in the lumbar spine, also I think i have some sort of pinched nerve which is giving me a numbness in my righ thigh.

Much better now though...but I was soo worried it was gonna be a serious thing. The numbness is almost gone today..I abstained from practice the last 2 days..and during mysore, didn't do supta K or dropbacks...seems to me these asanas are a lethal combination when it comes to my back...

On a more positive note...my jump throughs are VERY consistent now. I mostly get it 8 out of 10 times...thats pretty good by my standards..Funny though, I can't float through with crossed legs, but do it pretty well with straight legs. I don't know if its a different dynamic..

Now if only I could jump back with as much ease...think I better work on those uth plutihs and lolasanas...and L-plant lifts.. I can't yet lift with straight legs, but I suspect that when I can, I should have a better chance jumping back.

I taught ny first class today at the gym...I figure I was ok...but Mr Calcutta who kindly came to my class told me I wasn't speaking loadly enough, and for an Ashtanga class, I was too soft. Well yeah, I skipped all the vinyasas, and basically did only 3 As ans 2 Bs..But I've figured out that I just need to throw in lots of long holds and chatturangas...will update..
